Bible Analysis Addin

The Bible Analysis Addin adds a number of powerful and highly graphical features to Logos Bible Software -- features that work with Bibles in any language, including English. The first two are available both as stand-alone reports but also fully integrate with your existing Passage Guide, as shown on the right.

The Bible Clusters report ( Click for video demo) shows you a diagram illustrating the similarity of translation wording between Bibles in a given language for a specific passage. You can think of this as a bird's-eye-view of the information shown in the Compare Parallel Bible Versions report included in the Scholar's Library. It also serves as a navigation aid -- clicking on a version in the diagram opens the Compare Parallel Bible Versions report (if you have it -- it's included in Scholar's Library) with the chosen version as the base and the others shown in descending order of similarity.

The Bible Version Difference Rivers report ( Click for video demo) shows you a visual "river" of the differences between Bible versions verse-by-verse over a Bible passage you specify. The Bible Clusters report gives you a single two-dimensional view of the differences between all the versions for the whole passage; this report presents the difference of each version from a "base" version as it varies over the passage. The thicker the line, the more the version differs from the base. Just click the "river" for a different version to make it the base and recalculate the graph.

The Graph Bible Search Results report ( Click for video demo) is available from the Bible Search Results window and lets you view search results on a graphical map of the Bible or plot a variety of statistics. The statistical data can also be automatically sent to Microsoft Excel, if it is installed, for further work.

The graphical map of the Bible shows you a consistent visual representation of the Bible, which each search result indicated as a colored line at the verse location. A darker line indicates more hits at that location; the overall result is a quick way to see where your search results are in the Bible, which books have the most hits (or fewest), and to compare the hit lists from multiple versions.
